Garfield is one of the most consistent and reliable horses we have ever offered. No matter the rider’s experience level, he will take care of you and make you feel like a cowboy every single day. He is rock solid and stays the same day in and day out.

Garfield is a 2018 registered AQHA gelding, standing a perfect 15 hands tall and weighing approximately 1,250 lbs. He is an own son of Inferno Sixty Six, an NRHA $2 Million Sire known for his talent and smooth temperament, and out of a mare by Hollywood Dun It, NRHA’s first Million Dollar Sire and an NRHA Hall of Fame inductee. With breeding like this, it’s no surprise Garfield turned out the way he did—he truly has exceptional parents.

Garfield himself has earned over $15,000 in NRHA money, proving that he is not only beautiful and safe but also very talented. He knows all of the reining maneuvers, with excellent stops and turns, and transitions seamlessly into the ranch riding show pen. He would be an outstanding choice for anyone wanting to learn or step into ranch riding or reining at any level. Despite his success in the show pen, he remains one of the most user-friendly and easy-to-ride horses around.

Garfield does not require a training program to stay broke, solid, and safe. Whether he’s ridden every day or once a week, he remains the same dependable horse. We’ve also enjoyed using him as a fancy ranch horse—pushing cattle, driving bulls, roping calves, and even doing some team roping. He truly has done it all.
